Ed took this photo. It's wine glass in front of a jug of water, lit up solely by the dingy bar lights. What he got out of it, God only knows. Still, it seemed to make him happy. 

What a lovely couple. Some day I should meet them and find out their names. 

So that's where all the wine glasses went. 

Liz suddenly remembered where she'd hidden her lucky penny. Ed in the meantime continued to be the life and soul of the party.
